| The derivation of the word, facilitation is "facile"--to make things easy. For me, facilitation is also the chance for everyone in the room to engage in a playful, authentic, interesting time together.
Since 1998, I have facilitated the highly interactive
curriculum of workshops that the Coaches Training Institute offers. These classes rely on the facilitators to demonstrate coaching skills, to engage with the participants intelligently, to encourage yet correct, to underscore learning points, to entertain and inform, to make everyone right no matter what happens, and to cover everything in the timeline--it's great! Another of my activities with the Coaches Training Institute is to Train-the-Trainer for newer facilitators in this Co-Active leadership approach.
Other workshops I lead that address corporate culture and improvement
initiatives include: High Performance Teams, Business Process Redesign,
Collaborative Action, Leading with the Enneagram, Systems Thinking, and The
Bigger Game, and The Thinking Workshop.
I also specialize in the design of engaging learning experiences. Given a wide variety of content, I've developed a variety of products to support people in successful
change--instructional games, self-guided workbooks, and highly interactive
tele-classes, meetings, and workshops.
